Hannah is a qualified Nutritionist, sustainability researcher and food biodiversity champion who is passionate about connecting young people to nature by encouraging curiosity, engaging all five senses, and building confidence in the great outdoors.
Hannah holds a Master of Science, has lead group tours throughout her homeland of New Zealand, advised national and regional bodies about sustainability assessment frameworks and target setting, and worked in Europe as a Research Fellow sharing food biodiversity data with UN agencies to assist policy creation. Before joining the Earthwatch team, Hannah managed, facilitated and participated in student-led expeditions to developing countries, a highlight being a 12-day hike to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal.
