Sandra is Program Manager for Biodiversity at Earthwatch. She studied Geology at the University of Melbourne and worked as a Geologist for five years gaining experience in remote field work and community engagement. With a strong passion for the environment and working outside in nature, she found Earthwatch to be a natural fit for her. In her role, Sandra assists teachers to participate in TeachLive - a unique professional development for teachers, and Bush Blitz – Australia’s largest species discovery project. She hopes the experience will inspire these teachers to share ideas and passions with their students and wider community.
