Earthwatch partners with the George Alexander Foundation to award Student Challenge Fellowships. The Student Challenge program is part of Earthwatch’s education programs, and aims to inspire senior high school students to pursue careers in STEM, and specifically environmental conservation by working alongside a research scientist in the field for a week. Through this partnership and other scholarship programs for students and teachers, Earthwatch Australia is inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders and change-makers.

The George Alexander Foundation supports access to education for promising young people, particularly those from rural and remote areas. Their aim is to help overcome barriers and make it possible for talented students to achieve their potential and go on to contribute to the Australian community.
