In an era of rapid global change, Earthwatch's mission is vital. We mobilize diverse individuals from different sectors to work with scientists to deliver high impact environmental outcomes. In the 2023 Impact report, we have collected case studies, highlights and key results from the year to share with our valued community and supporters.  

We are thrilled to share a summation of the impact that our team, partners, participants, and collaborators have contributed to over the course of the year of 2023:

• Hosted over 24,000 participants in our peer learning programs 
• Over 27,000 hours of citizen science through data collection and education
• More than 80% of our projects were conducted in marginalised, regional and remote areas of Australia
• Over 81,000 species observations by citizen scientists
