Cassandra Austen

Cassandra is an executive with a decade of experience across the financial and sustainability sectors. She is a Director at Pollination, supporting institutions with climate and nature strategies and investments, specialising in nature-based solutions, agricultural supply chains and sustainable finance. She also has expertise in business ESG strategies, sustainability reporting and financing mechanisms to support decarbonisation. She was previously a Senior Economist at Vivid Economics in London, managing international projects including net zero strategy for financial institutions and advising on natural capital investments. Prior to her career in environmental consulting, Cassandra gained six years of experience working in financial markets in London and Sydney.

Cassandra was previously a Board Director and Treasurer for Voluntary Action Camden in the UK. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance, Economics and Financial Mathematics & Statistics.  Cassandra joined Earthwatch in 2024.
