Julie Schilin

Office Manager

Julie has worked in the environment movement since 2001, starting her career as Community Liaison Officer at the Australian Conservation Foundation. She has been passionate about wildlife and nature for as long as she remembers and it was while volunteering at the ACF that she saw a notice on the jobs board for the CLO position and was encouraged to apply.

In 2016 Julie joined Earthwatch as Office Manager. In 2018 she joined Earthwatch expedition Tracking Sea Turtles in the Bahamas learning about turtles and their habitat as well as the other creatures they share the sea with. She returned doubly enthused about the role Earthwatch plays in getting people to experience and learn more about nature and the vital role it plays in all our lives.
