Shannon Anstee

Program Coordinator (Biodiversity)

Shannon is the coordinator for the Tiny Forest project at Earthwatch. In her role, Shannon engages local communities to build and maintain small forests in urban environments. By doing so, she hopes to not only make strides towards combatting the impacts of biodiversity loss, but connect people of all ages with nature, helping them to understand how they can play an important role in combating climate change.
Born and raised in Australia, but having worked the last 6 years in the U.K., Shannon is excited to be applying her conservation knowledge to Australia, and enjoying some warmer weather while she's at it.
