What's provided
Light catering will be provided, including fruit, juices, muesli bars, and lollies. There will also be extra water to refill your bottle. Feel free to bring along your own snacks/light lunch if you’d like. First aid kit will be available.
What you'll be doing
We’ll be exploring two saltmarsh sites in the area, getting out into the field to observe these unique coastal ecosystems up close. Along the way, we’ll identify key flora and fauna, and have conversations around the ecological value of saltmarshes and the pressures they face.
Between site visits, we’ll take a short break to refuel, and work through the survey process together — learning how to record observations and contribute data to the Saltmarsh Dashboard.
It’s a relaxed, hands-on session designed to build your confidence in the field while contributing to meaningful, long-term monitoring.
