Itzel is taking on the Sydney Marathon for a cause close to her heart! With a background in environmental consulting, she's currently working with the NSW Saving our Species Program and the Biodiversity Conservation Trust to protect the charming Bargo Geebung (Persoonia bargoensis).
Her love for the environment fuels her belief in Earthwatch's mission to blend conservation research, citizen science, and environmental education. Though she’s been running on and off for years, this will be her first marathon!

Shaan is an ambassador for Earthwatch Australia’s Challenge Against Climate Change. With a background in sustainability consulting, Shaan is deeply passionate about environmental conservation and inspiring others to take action.
