Andrew Thomson is an Agricultural Scientist and business executive with a career spanning over 25 years encompassing agriculture, natural resource management and energy, both in Australia and internationally.
Since 2007, Andrew has been at the forefront of the development of the renewable energy industry in Australia. As Managing Director, he led the Australian operations of Acciona Energy, a global leader in the sector. In 2019, Andrew co-founded and now leads Kilara Energy, a new venture within the Kilara Group of companies.
Andrew brings deep skills and experience in leadership, corporate governance, development and execution of strategy, and in public policy around energy and environment. In addition to his foundations in science, he holds an MBA.
